About Eefak Design
Hi, I’m Aoife, the maker behind Eefak Design.
I’m a graphic designer based in County Wicklow with a lifelong love of art, colour and creating things by hand. While design is my profession, making jewellery allows me to slow down, experiment and create something truly unique.
The name Eefak comes from my own name and initials – Aoife (known to family and friends as “Eef”) combined with Aoife Kennedy (AK). It felt like the perfect name for a brand that reflects both my creative career and my passion for handmade design.
In 2025, I discovered ceramics, which reignited my love of working with my hands. Soon after, I found polymer clay and instantly fell in love with its endless colour combinations, textures and creative possibilities.
My background in graphic design naturally influences every collection I create. I enjoy playing with colour, shape and composition to design modern, timeless pieces that are made to be worn and enjoyed. Every pair is carefully handcrafted in small batches, making each one a little different and completely unique.
Whenever I travel, I always seek out local artisan markets and independent makers. Handmade earrings have become my favourite souvenirs, each pair reminding me of a special place or memory. That love of discovering handcrafted jewellery continues to inspire every collection I create.
My creative journey is always evolving. While I currently create jewellery, ceramics remain a big passion of mine, so watch this space for what’s to come.
